1. Purpose and Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how AI-People collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects personal data when people visit the Platform, create an account, submit listings, purchase or subscribe, request payouts, contact support, report content, or otherwise use AI-People marketplace services.
AI-People is a moderated marketplace for licensed AI-persona entities. This Policy applies to buyers, creators, account applicants, and other users who interact with the Platform.
This Policy should be read together with the Terms of Service, the Cookie Policy, Cookie Settings, the Content Policy, the NSFW Policy, and any license or transaction documents that apply to a specific purchase or listing.
2. Key Terms
In this Policy, Platform means AI-People and the related marketplace services it makes available. Personal data means information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to a person. User means any person who visits, applies for an account, signs in, submits a listing, purchases, subscribes, or otherwise uses the Platform.
Creator means a user who submits, manages, or licenses an AI-persona listing. Buyer means a user who browses, purchases, subscribes, downloads, or licenses marketplace content. Listing data means materials connected to a marketplace submission, including titles, descriptions, previews, tags, categories, moderation notes, and appeal records.
Transaction data means records related to subscriptions, purchases, invoices, checkout or payment references, payout details, wallet addresses, and transaction status. Cookie Settingsmeans the device-level controls that let a user enable or disable optional cookie categories on AI-People.
3. Personal Data We Collect
We collect personal data that is reasonably needed to run a secure, moderated marketplace and to support transactions, listings, subscriptions, and safety workflows.
We may receive data directly from users, automatically from browsers or devices, from service providers that support transactions or security, and from reports or complaints submitted to the Platform.
Account and profile data
- name, email address, username, password hash, preferred language, and account role;
- profile information such as avatar, bio, and creator-facing marketplace details;
- email verification status and authentication-related records.
Lead, onboarding, and registration data
- country, registration source, intended use case, creator level, and similar onboarding fields;
- marketing attribution data such as referral source, UTM parameters, referrer, IP address, and user agent;
- records of consents captured during registration or other platform flows.
Subscription, purchase, payment, and payout data
- subscription plan, status, start date, expiry date, and related billing records;
- payment identifiers, invoice or checkout references, wallet addresses, and transaction timestamps;
- creator balances, payout requests, payout destinations, payout status, and related review records.
We do not state in this Policy that AI-People stores private wallet keys or seed phrases, and users should not provide them to us.
Creator submission, listing, and moderation data
- listing titles, descriptions, previews, media files, metadata, pricing, tags, and licensing options;
- category selections, creator disclosures, moderation notes, moderation outcomes, and appeal records;
- communications and confirmations related to content rights, eligibility, classification, and compliance.
Buyer activity and licensing data
- catalog browsing activity, cart activity, purchases, downloads, and license records;
- subscription access records, order status, dispute-related records, and transaction history;
- records showing which legal documents or transactional confirmations were accepted before a purchase or access action.
Support, safety, and communications data
- support tickets, emails, reports, complaint details, and attachments submitted to us;
- communications about account security, moderation, billing, or policy enforcement;
- information needed to investigate abuse, fraud, safety issues, or rights-related complaints.
Technical, device, and security data
- IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, access time, and log data;
- session, security, and access-control records;
- performance, error, and diagnostic data used to operate and secure the Platform.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies for core platform functions and, where enabled, optional analytics or marketing measurement. See the Cookie Policy and Cookie Settings for more detail.
Example: if a creator submits a listing, we may process the listing files, metadata, moderation notes, rights confirmations, and appeal history to decide whether that listing can be published, reclassified, restricted, or removed.
4. How We Use Personal Data
We use personal data to operate a secure, moderated, and commercially functional marketplace.
- create and manage accounts, verify email addresses, and authenticate users;
- operate subscriptions, purchases, licensing flows, creator payouts, and transaction records;
- review listings, classify content, investigate reports, and enforce platform rules;
- provide support, respond to complaints, and manage appeals or review workflows where offered;
- secure the Platform, detect fraud, prevent abuse, and protect users, creators, buyers, and AI-People;
- analyze service usage, technical performance, campaign performance, and operational issues;
- send service communications, policy notices, security alerts, and account-related messages;
- send marketing or product updates where the user has opted in or where otherwise permitted;
- comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and maintain internal business records.
We may combine account, transaction, device, moderation, and complaint data where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, rights disputes, safety issues, or repeated policy violations.
5. Legal Bases and Similar Justifications
Where applicable law requires a legal basis or similar justification for processing, AI-People may rely on:
- performance of a contract or pre-contract steps requested by the user;
- legitimate interests in operating, securing, moderating, improving, and defending the Platform;
- user consent, including for optional communications or optional technologies where consent is used;
- compliance with legal obligations, lawful requests, dispute handling, and recordkeeping.
6. How We Share Personal Data
We do not describe AI-People as selling personal data in this Policy.
We may share personal data only where reasonably necessary, including with:
- hosting, storage, email, authentication, analytics, security, and infrastructure providers;
- payment, checkout, settlement, or payout providers that support marketplace transactions;
- professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or corporate counterparties where needed for business operations;
- law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other authorities when required or reasonably necessary by law;
- buyers, creators, or affected parties where sharing is required to complete a transaction, resolve a dispute, or review a report;
- acquirers or transaction counterparties in a merger, financing, restructuring, sale, or similar corporate event.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, enforce agreements, investigate misuse, preserve evidence, or respond to rights, safety, fraud, or security issues.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
AI-People uses cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies to keep the Platform working and, where a user has enabled them, to support analytics or marketing measurement.
Necessary technologies support sign-in, security, access control, checkout continuity, language preferences, and saving cookie choices. Optional analytics technologies help us understand usage patterns. Optional marketing technologies help us understand whether campaigns and referral channels are working.

8. Retention, International Processing, and Security
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably needed to operate the Platform, maintain accounts and transaction history, handle moderation, appeals, complaints, and disputes, comply with law, and protect AI-People and its users.
Retention periods depend on the type of data, the purpose of use, legal obligations, limitation periods, security needs, and whether an account, listing, purchase, payout, or dispute remains active or under review.
AI-People and its service providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
9. User Choices and Requests
Depending on the law that applies to a user, they may have rights or choices related to access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, withdrawal of consent, portability, or marketing preferences.
Users may manage optional cookie choices through Cookie Settings and may unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails through the controls provided in those messages where available.
Users may request help or submit privacy-related questions by contacting support@ai-people.io. We may ask for reasonable verification before acting on a request, and we may decline or limit a request where the law allows us to do so.
10. Age Restriction, Changes, and Contact
AI-People is intended for adults. We do not knowingly allow the Platform to be used by minors, and accounts, listings, purchases, or other activity that appear to involve minors may be restricted, suspended, or removed.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, operational, or safety changes. The current version will be posted on the Platform with its effective date.
