Cookie Policy
Effective Date: March 20, 2026 • Contact: support@ai-people.io
1. Purpose and Scope
This Cookie Policy explains how AI-People uses cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies on the Platform.
It should be read together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Settings. Cookie Settings are the device-level controls that let users accept or reject optional cookie categories where those controls are offered.
2. What We Mean by Cookies and Similar Technologies
In this Policy, cookies means small text files or similar identifiers stored on a browser or device. We also use browser storage and similar technologies that can perform a comparable function.
Some technologies are session-based and expire when a browser session ends. Others remain for a defined period unless they are deleted earlier.
We use these technologies to keep the Platform working, remember preferences or choices, understand service usage, and measure whether marketing channels are effective.
3. Cookie Categories Used on AI-People
AI-People currently uses the following cookie categories:
Necessary cookies
- support sign-in, session continuity, account security, and access control;
- remember core technical preferences and cookie choices on the current device;
- help protect the Platform against abuse, fraud, or operational failures.
Necessary cookies are required for the Platform to function and are not turned off through Cookie Settings.
Analytics cookies
- help us understand how users navigate the Platform;
- support measurement of performance, page usage, and service issues;
- help us improve marketplace usability and technical quality.
Example: analytics tools may help us understand whether users drop off during sign-in, checkout, or listing submission flows.
Marketing cookies
- help us understand whether campaigns, referrals, or acquisition channels are working;
- support marketing measurement tied to AI-People promotion and conversion flows;
- may connect campaign traffic to later marketplace actions where enabled.
Marketing cookies are optional and are used only where the Platform offers that category and the user has enabled it.
4. How Cookie Settings Work
Where Cookie Settings are offered, users can choose between:
- accepting all available cookie categories;
- keeping only necessary cookies enabled; or
- saving a custom choice for optional categories.
Cookie choices are device- and browser-specific. If a user clears browser storage, uses a different browser, or uses a different device, they may need to set preferences again.
Necessary cookies remain active because they are needed to provide the Platform. Optional analytics and marketing categories should reflect the choice saved through Cookie Settings.
5. Browser Controls and Third-Party Technologies
Users can also manage cookies through browser settings, including by deleting stored cookies or blocking some technologies entirely. Browser controls may affect Platform functionality.
AI-People may use service providers that set or read certain technologies on our behalf for infrastructure, analytics, security, or campaign measurement. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices, but only for the services they provide to AI-People.
6. Changes and Contact
We may update this Cookie Policy when the Platform, our technologies, or our legal obligations change. The current version will remain available on the Platform with its effective date.
